You can heal yourself…

I want to write today about health issues. I consider myself a healthy person I eat right and exercise and I do yoga. I had my last child in my 40’s naturally.  Two weeks ago I had a lot of pain in my left ovary. I contacted a nutritionist and I have been on a detox diet and I have eaten nothing but vegetables soups crackers natural herbs…no dairy no meats no sugar of any kind. I feel wonderful. I also feel like I have awakened from a dream state. I realize now the meats, dairy and sugar that I have put into my body have kept me in a lower vibrational state.  I realize we can heal ourselves with natural herbs and remedies found from our earth.  I will be posting more information on detox plans that you can do yourself. Take back your power and learn to heal your self . Have a wonderful day.     anver mission inn 018

The Magic of Nature…

The magic of nature is everywhere. The most meaningful meditation , dreams and experiences come through entering a magical relationship with nature.  I have traveled the world and photographed sacred sites  like Stonehenge, Mayan temples, The Tor, The Great Pyramids, and all the great temples along the Nile. But you don’t have to travel to these sacred sites to understand the magic of power spots. Some of the most magical places are right here in our home towns. A fountain, a spring, a park, a beach or lake, an old town, a big old tree, a historical building, a flagpole, an outdoor amphitheater. Anyone of these places make an excellent background for a photo shoot .

In seeking out these sites you’ll come to find that these places can inspire you and give you a sence of sanctuary, a place that can recharge you. You don’t need a special reason to seek out a power spot, sometimes it’s great just being there.  Maybe in return you can give thanks to mother earth and by doing this you have created a positive energy flow between you and nature…

A touch with nature is a touch with magic..

Lavender the gift of love…

Lavender is the gift of love…why not give herbs instead of flowers , a beautiful scented soap, or some wonderful lavender lotions . I spent the day here at the Temecula  lavender Company in Old town Temecula buying some gifts for some friends and myself.

They harvest their lavender locally and make everything for the store here. I love these handmade lavender soaps.

The smell of lavender is so calming , true lavender is related to the mint Lamiaceae family. Also Know as English lavender though not native to England.

It is a flowering plant native to the western Mediterranean region. True lavender includes Spanish lavender, Spike lavender, but Lavandins include Sweet lavender from Provence. And why not try lavender for cooking. A wonderful place to shop and I found their prices very reasonable.

You can visit there website here. temeculalavenderco.

Tonight after dinner am going to soak in these wonderful oils, soaps and lotions.

Winter biking…with Hunter

It was cold and rainy this last weekend, but Hunter and I went out to  bike away…and to take a few pictures with my pocket canon.

The wind was blowing the leaves around and created a beautiful  background…

I like this park for photos and it’s right by the house….funny I have never done a photo shoot here. I love the natural stone wall, the rolling hills and the maple trees.

And I love this Felt  bike I bought from my cousin… it was just sitting in his garage.

I love the leather saddle bags on the  back side…

and the military details …

I Photoshop these photos to give them a retro  look.  For anyone who  loves the military style, male or female this bike would make a great photo shoot.  Hunter thank-you for going on an adventure with me even if it was just to the park, and your photos are getting pretty darn good !

Hope everyone has a wonderful week…

The art of doing nothing…

Today I enjoyed the art of doing nothing. I enjoyed sleeping in late. Then walking to our fountain by our house and putting my feet up…

…and I watched Leo play in the distance with his trains…

I looked at the water pouring out of the fountain again and again thinking to myself , this is really nice.

I could hear the birds chirping, funny I have been here before I and never took the time hear them chirp…

I don’t think I ever realized the tiles were such a pretty color BLUE.

and the flowers so RED, the art of doing nothing is such a wonderful art !

Hope everyone has a simply relaxing week !

My January inspirations

I have had some emails asking  how do you change your thoughts. So I decided to  write down my ten inspirations for this magical year of 2011 .  I wrote my ten inspirations down on a pretty piece of paper and put it where I will see it everyday, just like a mantra, so hopefully I can inspire you too.

make this the year you make just one dream come true…I know you can…
