It was cold and rainy this last weekend, but Hunter and I went out to bike away…and to take a few pictures with my pocket canon.
The wind was blowing the leaves around and created a beautiful background…
I like this park for photos and it’s right by the house….funny I have never done a photo shoot here. I love the natural stone wall, the rolling hills and the maple trees.
And I love this Felt bike I bought from my cousin… it was just sitting in his garage.
I love the leather saddle bags on the back side…
and the military details …
I Photoshop these photos to give them a retro look. For anyone who loves the military style, male or female this bike would make a great photo shoot. Hunter thank-you for going on an adventure with me even if it was just to the park, and your photos are getting pretty darn good !
Hope everyone has a wonderful week…
The world is changing. Welcome to the New Reality ! I have been waiting for 2012 for a long time…and I have been wondering when is the big change that has been predicted for so many years. I realized the big change is within us, each and every one of us has the ability to change the world with our thoughts. I was inspired to write this book when we were in Hawaii North Shore and everywhere I looked there was beauty. I thought to myself I would love to live this way everyday….thus Simply Paradise was created …I hope you can take the time and step into nature , the beach, a lake, the mountains or just my book for just a moment and enjoy our simply beautiful earth !
It’s a new day !
The concert hall at the Syndey Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 16,000 times in 2011. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 6 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
In 2011, there were 132 new posts, growing the total archive of this blog to 281 posts. There were 1148 pictures uploaded, taking up a total of 2gb. That’s about 3 pictures per day.
The busiest day of the year was June 21st with 307 views.
The most popular post that day was Venice Beach shopping…”The Bountiful”.
Thank-you wordpress, and a big thank-you to all of you who have stopped by to visit my blog. I have had some request for more pictures of Costal Beach shopping and alfresco dinning at cafes. I will be heading to the local beaches a lot in 2012, to post my latest finds so please join me and have a wonderful 2012 !
I used simple and natural decorations this year to create a rustic yet French inspired holidays. I used lots of pinecones from the local mountains and I saved all my wine corks and used them as my center piece for my dinning room table. I used sage greens, pewter, silver feathers and a touch of ruby red. My holidays were simply earthy and fun, hope yours were wonderful too !
