I have had some emails and some friends asking me what I eat now to keep me heathy and fit .
I start my day with a half of grapefruit and green tea with a slice of spout bread and all natural peanut butter with a teaspoon of honey.
I have a mid morning snack of trail mix from Trader Joes . ( A protein shake if I exercise )
Lunch I have a salad with spinach, cucumber,spouts and lime juice and lemon pepper. or a spout and turkey sandwich.
For dinner I have broil salt-less chicken and spinach salad and a vegetable with a pad of real butter.
And maybe a orange or apple with green tea for a late night snack.
I will have a protein shake after I exercise or maybe in the evening. I use coconut milk or soy milk for my shakes and a banana and muscle milk protein from Costco . When I go to Starbucks I have a bagged tea latte with soy milk. And I carry a water bottle with me at all times everywhere I go, and I have saved so much money not buying sodas. I don’t count calories .
It’s a life style change and I feel so much better…

I had a wonderful morning with Tanya, she cooked me breakfast and had beautiful flowers for me, then we went and had our nails done and shopped for her trip for Italy, she is leaving tomorrow ! I am soooo excited for her and her husband Fernando. I would say Florence Italy is the most romantic place in the world.
I had a wedding photo shoot in the Arizona desert this last weekend and Hunter and I hop in my car and I drove 5 1/2 hours to Phoenix . After that long drive I needed some exercise. I have made exercising my life style and I have been going to the gym 5 days a week. But what do you do when you’re on location ? Well, I bring my gray sketcher, my Ipod , my water bottle and my exercise clothes. I find some beautiful scenery and get outside with the fresh air and jog . My hour jog burns up to 482 big ones and tones my legs and butt with every step . Yes I am addicted to exercise and why not. I have so much more energy now (and it certainly helps with Leo) and I eat more and still lose weight… before jogging make sure you warm up with some simple stretching. Bend down and touch your toes, then reach your arms up high and stretch your body, then right and left leg forward stretches. I wear a heart monitor watch so I can keep my heart rate at about 135 to 145 to burn those calories.
Summer is right around the corner and I would like to be ready for summer this year.
